Sounding impressive is only one part of a live music show for cover/blue collar musicians. Meeting or exceeding the buyers/audiences expectations is Mark and the Rocks goal. This includes formatting any or all of a performance for cocktail hour, dinner music, sing-a-long, dancing to rock'n it out. That is with the correct amount of jokes, gimmicks and fun. With 3 experienced front persons/lead vocalist Mark and the Rocks has enough "tricks" to be-friend darn near any audience playing with "on the spot" comedy.

Band size for your event is a hard question to answer without knowing details. Please consider:
Duo's:
- Mark and female vocalist - sweet combination.
- Mark and 2nd guitar with male vocals - venturing more into rock.
- Mark & Drummer - the drums make it look & sound like a "band" opposed to a "duo". It also adds volume.
Trio's:
- Mark, female vocalist and 2nd guitar with male vocals - the magic 3 part harmony.
- Mark, female vocalist and drummer - a sweet band.
- Mark, 2nd guitar with male vocals and drummer - the power trio

Mark & some band members use wireless guitars and mics in order to stroll and interact with audiences. All musicians are schooled players and vocalists are trained lead & harmony singers.
Sometimes depending on band size/members all music is live with Mark on bass guitar. More of the time Mark and the Rocks utilize custom made backing trax with 2 or 3 racks of audio gear all controlled via a laptop computer. This is a sign of the times and gives Mark and the Rocks the ability to consistently cover over 300 songs. Sound is carried by 600 watts of speakers or depending on the gig a 2,000 watt (boom, boom) speaker system.

Mark and the Rocks are available to you in a variety of musical formats and dress to the occasion. A contract will outline the musician’s appearance.
Tropical - Hawaiian Shirts/Tops with Khaki Pants/Shorts or Sundress, Beach Hats and shoes/flip flops/ or bare feet (depending on occasion).
Casual - Modern Club look, collared shirts and black pants.
Semi Formal - Country Club, collared shirts and black pants or dress.
Formal - Tuxedoes and evening Gowns.
