Adding in the edge... Mark and the Rocks is a variety band, depending on your guests Marc usually adds into a tropical night other popular music from an extensive songlist.
~ The Lost Shaker Of Salt GAME~
If you are having a "Welcome To Florida" event or other party with a cocktail hour then Mark has a great "game" for your guests featuring an Official Jimmy Buffett Margaretville "Lost Shaker Of Salt". Salt shaker is lost amongst your guests, typically starting with CEO. Guests are instructed to pass the salt as they mingle, not wanting to have the salt shaker when it is called for. The guest who has the salt shaker when called for is then invited to interact with Mark and the Rocks for a special presentation and not only wins the salt shaker but also a matching item from Margaritaville.
Besides “losing a shaker of salt” Mark has a bag of "tricks" and gimmicks (event specific) used to interact with and entertain a crowd beyond performing music.
Almost all Rocks band member are not Florida Crackers (Florida born). Only about 33% of Florida residents were born here. We fit right in, playing music on a pool deck next to a Tiki Bar.
